The Power of Habits

Lately, I started paying attention to the things that are influencing my mood, my creativity, my work and it stroke me how bad we are with ourselves. We are doing so many things that we know aren’t good for us but we do it anyway, because.. we’re human?! Let’s talk about the power of habits to make massive changes. If we undertake small steps to achieve what we want we eventually will reach our goals. Success doesn’t come overnight, neither does happiness.

So if you know you’re not gonna feel great after eating a burger. Take the time to order healthy food and learn how to cook online. Stop eating junk foods.

If looking at your Facebook feed is going to bring you down. Change the settings so you can only read positive news (or just stop looking at your Facebook feed for good)

If you feel overwhelmed by the amount of emails you need to reply to on a daily basis, just stop the push notifications on your phone and set an alarm to reply to your emails at the same time everyday. Stop wasting your time with emails.

Really, a bad habit is a self-inflicted pain because most of the time we are just lazy or we have a tendency to procrastinate. I believe that if we take the time to pay attention to the things that make us feel GREAT and if we were to take actions to turn those things into habits we will not be struggling that much to have a healthier and fulfilling life.
