I want you to know that you can do anything you set your mind to. I want you to know you have the power within yourself to overcome your fears and the obstacles standing in the way. Embrace the failures, they’re a big part of the journey. Don’t let people distract you from your goal. Challenge yourself constantly.
I’m trying to keep up the habit of reading a book for 30 minutes every day. My goal is to read something inspiring, thought-provoking and learn something new every single day before I start work. It can be someone’s biography, a business book, a TED talk.. Instead of checking Social Media first thing in the morning, I think it’s important we feed our mind with something positive that will put our mind in the right setting and believe me you’ll end up being more productive! Here’s a list of books I highly suggest you read while drinking your coffee/tea in the morning, let me know if you have any suggestions as I’m always looking for new books to read
Lately, I started paying attention to the things that are influencing my mood, my creativity, my work and it stroke me how bad we are with ourselves. We are doing so many things that we know aren’t good for us but we do it anyway, because.. we’re human?! Let’s talk about the power of habits to make massive changes. If we undertake small steps to achieve what we want we eventually will reach our goals. Success doesn’t come overnight, neither does happiness.

‘Every person that you meet knows something you don’t; learn from them’
We’re all on the same journey called life but we share differences. We all experience life through our own lens, our own perception of the world because of all the good and bad things we’ve lived that ended up shaping the person we are today. We tend to seek help in books and that’s okay because books can bring us something to a certain extent. However, I came to realize that we can learn so much from each other. You can literally learn more about yourself by listening to others. I met a lot of entrepreneurs since I moved to the UK and I’d like to share some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned with you today.
Since I moved to Brighton (UK), I decided to set as many meetings as possible. It’s so important to network and meet people in your field especially if you’re new in the city. It’s very rewarding and allows you to see how people approach work and opportunities. I have experimented and learned a few tricks that I will share with you here:
It has always been difficult for me to find the right balance between my personal and professional life. I’m passionate about what I do, I don’t have the 9 to 5 lifestyle. Most of the time you will find me working at night because I know that’s when I get the most work done: I’m productive and inspired when I know that everyone else is sleeping. However, I understand the importance of implementing healthier habits in my life. As an entrepreneur or artist, it’s important to be in a good state of mind to deal with everyday’s challenges.
