Believe me, I’ve been there and it’s so frustrating when the inspiration doesn’t come. If you’re a writer, an entrepreneur or an artist you know that creative blocks exist. You have two options: Go with the flow and wait until the inspiration find its way back (which it always does) or if you’re tired of waiting and wanna find ways to create again then here are a few tips that I can give you that are currently helping me to boost my inspiration and creativity.
1: You’re stuck. Change the way you see things, change your routine.
I’m not talking about dramatic changes: you could decide to take a new itinerary to go to work today or change the way you cook your breakfast (go for crepes instead of eggs & bacon!) Your brain needs a break, follow your intuition and enjoy doing new things today!
2: Inspiration doesn’t always come from within. Engage with people and see what comes out of it!
I personally find my inspiration in situations and in the conversations that I have with people. If you’re sitting there alone, in front of a blank page it’s not gonna help. You need to go for a walk! Go to a coffee shop, interact with people (even if it’s only the waitress!) incredible things can come out of random conversations.
3: Get your ‘inspiration fix’ online!
Read a book, watch a video – the web is an endless source of inspiration! I highly advise you check out TED talks but also my favorite ‘inspiration’ gurus are: Marie Forleo, Simon Sinek, Lewis Howes, Gary Vee, Jay Shetty (please google them!). Take 5 minutes and watch a speech/listen to a podcast about something you’re passionate about.
